I already voted and turned my ballot into the police station as that is where we do it in this little city if we are voting early. I vote absentee as I cannot stand in line and I like also to have time to pray about it and how to vote on issues and leaders as to how or whether to vote on this or that.

Most definitely I am registered and I have voted in every local and federal election since I turned 18. To me, it is the responsibility of every citizen of this country. It is even more important to me as a Black woman. Too many people of color died for this right. It would be impudent of me to look upon the right to vote as something to lightly consider. So I listen to the politicians, ask God to lead me in the right direction, and with pride and thanksgiving, I vote.
