I don't know how many of you have fellowship dinners or potlucks at your churches, but ours does potluck the first of every month for the members and visitors. But we have such a hard time thinking of new and different recipes that I thought it might be nice for us to post our favorites here. To start out, here's one of mine:
Cranberry Bread
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cooking oil
1 egg
orange juice
2 cups whole cranberries
Sift together the dry ingredients. Mix oil and orange juice together to egual 3/4 cup. Add egg to oil and orange juice. Add to dry ingredients. Stir well. Add cranberries. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes.
