Trecia, take it from someone who has been pushed around and even beaten, unless he gets help now, he will only get worse later. What starts out as a little over time grows into uncontrolled anger and rage. Lordwilling, through the power of many prayers, tough love, good christian counciling your brother will come around. He is full of anger and unless he deals with and faces that anger, Lord help him. God brings us all into and through certain situations to work out his good will in our lives and to draw us to him in all this. I pray your family will come together as one to help your brother to turn him around sooner rather than later. They can't make excuses for him, which will only enable him. He is becoming a man and needs to learn what it means to be a man. I pray a godly man or even men would be brought into his life who can teach him what a real man is, what is acceptable and more importantly what is not acceptable, which most certainly is NOT someone who is violent even in the smallest way. NO ONE EVER DESERVES TO BE ABUSED!! I pray for you to have GOD'S PEACE ! Have you heard of the Christian counciling radio show, New Life Ministries - I beleive their website is - www.newlife.com - you can get their phone number from the website, contact them to find out the best way for you to take care of yourself and to find christian councilors in your area for your brother, they have names from all over the country. This simple truth is you put your brother in jail because he threatened you and indirectly your child, had your brother taken your life he would have harmed your child much more. God always protects us when we let him. If it is to commit your brother to jail. Read Eph. 6:10 to 20. Wear the armor of God. Also read Isa. 54:17 God Bless You.

Hi Trecia
Trecia I'm sure that you know that you did the right thing in calling the police. Your brother has a serious problem and it's not hurting him at all to sit in jail and have to think about what it was that "he" did to put himself there.I know that it's hard when someone you love is in jail,and especially hard if your family is wrongly accusing you of putting him there.Remember Trecia it's through these hard time's that God holds us up. I will pray that God brings you peace in every area of your life.Please keep in mind as you go through this hard time that the bible tells us "this too shall pass" I know God has wonderful things in store for you.

Hello Everyone. This is very important to me and that is why I'm going to use my name. I want you guys to pray for me. My name is Trecia. I'm 24 and the mother of a 5 year old. I've been going through some very hard times lately. On Thursday, October 6, my youngest brother who was 17 then and 18 today October 11, had an argument with my mother. He didn't hit her but he pushed her a couple a times. I definately consider that putting his hands on her. During that process, I called the cops because I myself wanted to hit him but I knew it would get ugly so my sister and I agreed that it was the best thing to do. In the midst of that he decided that he wanted to attack me verbally and physically. He went and got his knife (he carries one around) to stab me. I didn't know what was going to happen if he was or he wasn't going to use it. He decided not to but it was too late. The cops were already on their way. To make a long story short, he is now in jail. I feel like crapp. No one is seeing that I could have been dead instead they're blaming me for him being in jail. Please pray for me. I'm trying to be strong. I don't want him to have a record but at the same time I want him to get help. It's not the first time he has come after me with a weapon. Please pray that God will change him. Pray what God has impressed upon your heart. I need help. My family is so apart. My dad, 2 brothers and other family members are so against me. Pray that I will love them inspite of. I need help and my brother in jail need to know and feel God's love.
