  Villieee,
Praying the Lord will comfort you with His peace...surround you with His love and encourage you with His presence.("But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:31)

I am so sorry for you. It is going to be hard for a long time. The only thing you can do is to make sure you are ready to see her under the tree of life. Until then it is your privilege and duty to use this tragic lesson and help many other people who are going through similar experiences right now. I do pray for you. Keep in touch. Gabriel. Loma Linda.
(A good book to read titled "The Medical Missionary Manual" is a compilation from the writings of Ellen G. White).

I had just recently posted a prayer request for my mom with cancer.
Last Thursday late morning I received a call from my sister saying that I should come quickly..My mom had been taken to the emergency room..I was told that she would die within a hours time..
I quickly picked up my daughter from school and started the 3 hour drive home to be with my mom.
I was afraid I would not arrive in time so I called my mom on the road.. I told her I loved her and I was on my way..I also said I was sorry and that I loved her again. She said "its OK cherie,I love you". I asked her if she was afraid..She said no but she just didn't want to leave her kids.
I made it to the hospital on time and actually mom waited for everyone to get there. We waited for her and although I could not stand the thought of being without my mom I also could not stand to see her drift in and out of life. I stayed by her side for two days...mom was in a coma state all of Friday and until sabbath morning around 8:30 when she took her last breath.
It was very much like mom to wait until sabbath to go..A reminder I believe to her kids that Sabbath is the day of rest.
I had the best mom in the world. What do I do now without her?
One of the last things mom said was this "remember children where it is I will meet you in heaven..I will be waiting under the tree of life for all 5 of my kids. Ill be waiting for you there".
Please pray for my daughter and myself..We had lived with mom for 8 years after my divorce and also took care of mom through her cancer.
I feel lost without her.
