I hear this response quite a bit and I used to say that there were no single guys in my church. Then I discovered the problem..... if you don't go out much, you won't meet any one new. Start socialising, meeting people, get involved in life, do that course, hobby or burning dream you have never got round to doing.
Yes, this site is one great way to meet guys but don't pin all your hopes on this one avenue. If you think things are always happening to you, why life is the way it is and why nothing good happens start looking within. God has granted us an ABUNDANT life but He is not going to put it in our laps, He just does not work that way. Remember, He said to Adam and Eve to manage earth and multiply - He gave them things to get on with. So find out what God wants you to do and start doing it! Plus if you start developing yourself and become more rounded, you will have a lot more to share with guys and not come across as desperate to have your one dream fulfilled, which is to get married. God has put alot more desires in your heart because He is a generous God so find out what they are and live purposeful. After all we have been called to do greater exploits than Jesus did!
May I also suggest that you buy How to get a date worth keeping by Dr Cloud. This book was written especially for people who never date, never meet anyone and wonder why this is happening! It really works !
Lastly, if you have closed off and don't meet up with people this might be a fear of intimacy or fear meeting people due to undeveloped social skills. None of this is a bad thing, its just good to investigate so that you can change it!

I want to get married one day because i'm in my early thirties and I would like to have a family. there's just not many adventist single men in the church and I don't get out that much. I just don't understand life and why things like this happens in my life.
