If your mother is there with you, sit and quietly pray for her, ober and over if need be, also a good Chapter to read to someone who is nervous about anything is
Psalms 91. It has helped me many times, esp. back when I was having anxiety attacks. My late husband Lee would read it to me many times when I would have those attacks.
Then after he died (14 years tomorrow) I had to read it myself or have someone read it to me over the phone. I do not have those problems anymore, and I can tell you that it works and helps calm you down, when you listen to the words and the real meaning of Ps. 91.
I will be praying also.

Hi, Friends.
Please pray for my mother.
She's been sick since right before Thanksgiving with what we at first believed was Pnemonia, then we feared whooping cough, ...now we're not even sure what it is.
She has a doctor's appointment tomorrow,
and she's really frightened.
I just keep praying for the Lord to lift htis desease from her body, and relieve her discomfort.
I also keep praying that he'll take her fears away.
Please keep her in your prayers.
